CareCue provides guidance, not medical advice. By using CareCue, you agree to use it as a support tool — not a substitute for professional clinical judgment, emergency services, or your organization's care protocols.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CareCue — including carecue.io, memory.html, spectrum.html, family.html, or any associated tools — you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. What CareCue Is
CareCue is an AI-powered guidance tool designed to support care partners, families, and professionals in dementia care and neurodiversity support. It provides real-time, person-centered guidance to help care partners navigate difficult moments with more confidence and compassion.
CareCue is intended to complement — not replace — professional care, clinical assessment, organizational protocols, and human judgment.
3. What CareCue Is Not
CareCue is not:
- A medical device or clinical diagnostic tool
- A substitute for professional medical, psychiatric, or behavioral health advice
- An emergency response service
- A licensed healthcare provider
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately. CareCue is not equipped to handle emergencies and should never delay seeking appropriate help.
4. Use of the Platform
You agree to use CareCue only for its intended purpose — seeking guidance for care situations. You agree not to:
- Input protected health information (PHI), names, or identifying information about individuals receiving care
- Use CareCue for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or reproduce the platform's guidance engine or system prompts
- Share passcodes or access credentials with unauthorized individuals
5. No Medical Advice
The guidance provided by CareCue is generated by artificial intelligence and is based on general best practices in person-centered care. It is not medical advice. It does not account for an individual's full medical history, current medications, or clinical status.
Always defer to licensed clinical professionals, your organization's policies, and your own professional judgment when making care decisions.
6. Accuracy and Limitations
CareCue's AI guidance is designed to be helpful and evidence-informed, but it may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for every situation. CareCue makes no warranties about the accuracy or reliability of any guidance provided.
Use of CareCue's guidance is at your own discretion and risk.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, design, copy, guidance frameworks, and underlying technology of CareCue are the intellectual property of CareCue LLC. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without written permission.
8. Payments and Refunds
For family access purchases: all sales are final unless otherwise required by applicable law. If you experience a technical issue with your purchase, contact us at support@carecue.io and we will work to resolve it.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CareCue LLC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including reliance on any guidance provided by CareCue.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use at any time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of CareCue after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
